Rutherford Glen Global (RGG) launched Q1 2024. We are committed to creating a website and a fully connected online platform (which together are referred to in this document as “RGG Comms”) that are accessible to as many people as possible, irrespective of abilities or access to technology.

1. www.rutherfordglenglobal.com and RGG Comms will provide you with information about RGG and our partners. We also obtain information from RGG Comms, including when you contact us, and any and all information will be handled in confidence as set out in the RGG Privacy Statement included below and extended in Appendix 1. We may use “cookies” to retain or track information about you and any such cookie is for the purpose of RGG Comms analysis and administration and does not retain sensitive data (e.g. monitoring which online articles receive the most views).
2. A cookie is often described as a text file downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or application. Your web browser then sends the cookie back to the website or application on each subsequent visit so that it can recognise you and remember things like personalised details or user preferences. Website, Blogs, LinkedIn, and other Social Media Platforms – Terms & Conditions
This Website, RGG Blogs, RGG LinkedIn page, and other RGG social media platforms (hereinafter referred to as “RGG Comms”) designed to provide generic information and create a global community with you are covered by the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.
All RGG Comms and their contents are owned (unless indicated otherwise) by Rutherford Glen Global Ltd, registered in England and Wales with registered number 15141945 and registered address at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.
Reference to "RGG", “Rutherford Glen Global”, "we", "our", or "us" in these terms and conditions and elsewhere in this documentation or in RGG Comms is to Rutherford Glen Global Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “RGG”).
1. Use of RGG Comms
a. In so using RGG Comms, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. Should you not wish to be legally bound by these terms and conditions then please do not access or use RGG Comms.
b. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. You may wish to review these terms and conditions on an ongoing basis. Your usage of RGG Comms after any and all such changes will be treated as a deemed agreement to said changes and so to the updated amended terms and conditions.
2. Intellectual Property (IP)
a. All IP and Copyright re the content of RGG Comms belong to RGG, unless indicated otherwise. You are encouraged to use the contents of RGG Comms, subject to the following conditions:
i. Used only for your personal purposes and not for commercial purposes;
ii. All and any copies or downloads must include a notice that copyright belongs to RGG, and
iii. The content is for information purposes only.
b. Nothing in RGG Comms shall be, or is capable of being, construed as conferring any licence or right to use any trademark or copyright that belongs to RGG, or any other party identified within RGG Comms.
3. Contributions to RGG Comms
a. You are encouraged to submit comments to RGG.
b. All such comments will be reviewed by RGG before publication and may be subject to edit.
c. Not all comments will be published.
d. Full publication and editorial discretion lie with RGG.
e. RGG accepts no responsibility or liability regarding content of any material posted or published on RGG Comms by third parties or in relation to contributions by third parties which we publish in RGG Comms.
f. You are entirely liable for all activities conducted by you or by others authorised by you or otherwise on your behalf.
g. Should you submit personal data to RGG, we confirm that we will only use any such personal data for the purposes for which you have provided it.
4. Communications
a. Any communications that we receive from you and any material that you transmit, post, or submit via RGG Comms, will be deemed non-confidential and non-proprietary and we reserve the right to use the content of such communications for any purpose whatsoever. In relation to such contributions you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, edit, publish and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to such work world-wide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in such content, consistent with the privacy restrictions set forth in the Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to grant such rights to RGG please do not submit your contribution to RGG Comms.
b. In so doing, you warrant that the contribution is your own original work, and you have the right to make it available to us for the purposes as outline in these terms and conditions.
c. You also warrant that your contribution is non-defamatory and does not infringe on either the law or the rights of any third party.
d. You agree to contribute to RGG Comms solely for lawful purposes and in a way that does not restrict nor inhibit the use or enjoyment of RGG Comms by any third party. Prohibited behaviour includes, but is not limited to, unlawful conduct, harassment, causing distress to any third party, submission or transmission of content that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, offensive, pornographic, indecent, discriminatory, inflammatory, in breach of confidence or privacy and which, in the opinion of RGG may cause offence to any person or damage RGG’s reputation. You must not use any abusive or aggressive language, swear, threaten, harass, or abuse any other person, including other users.
e. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RGG against any claim, liability, cost, damage, or loss we may incur (including without limitation legal fees) as a result of any violation by you of any and all of the provisions set out in these terms and conditions.
f. You agree to waive any moral rights in your contribution regarding its submission to and publication on RGG Comms and other purposes as specified in these terms and conditions.
g. You must not intentionally violate any laws, rules, or regulations.
h. You must not post nor recommend any other website or social media platform nor refer to specific website addresses or social media platforms where those would infringe any of the terms and conditions or this agreement. You must also not post any advertisement on RGG Comms.
i. In using RGG Comms, you agree not to impersonate another person or use a false name or a name that you are unauthorised to use or create a false email address or try to mislead others as to the identity or origin of any communication.
j. You must not corrupt RGG Comms nor flood it with information so as to cause any part of RGG Comms not to function or use anything which may affect the function of RGG Comms for example viruses, worms, logic bombs, or similar. You must not interfere or tamper with, remove, delete, or otherwise alter in any way, any information which is included on RGG Comms.
k. RGG reserves the right to fail any messages and/or remove any material whatsoever submitted to RGG Comms for any reason. RGG will not notify the contributor of the material of such failure or removal.
l. RGG reserves the right to take any action against any account or user, at any time, for any reason. We may at our discretion terminate your access to RGG Comms or prevent you from submitting comments immediately and without giving you advance notice. If you engage in behaviour which breaches these terms and conditions, and we consider such behaviour to be serious and/or repeated, we may use whatever information is available to us to prevent further breaches. If your access to RGG Comms is terminated, you may not open another account with us or register again and we reserve the right to terminate any such account or cancel any such registration.
5. Complaints re Communications
a. Should you have any complaint regarding any material published on RGG Comms, you can notify us of the nature and details of your complaint by email, sending this to info@rutherfordglenglobal.com Please include in the heading “Communications Complaint”.
6. Registering on RGG Comms
a. When you register, you are registering as a personal user, and you must use your own identity.
b. You are obliged to provide accurate and complete registration information.
c. Registration is for a single user only.
d. Your username and password are personal to you and may not be used by anyone else to gain access to areas restricted to registered users.
7. Disclaimer
a. The information contained within RGG Comms has been written in general terms and should be seen as the sharing of broad guidance only. The information cannot be relied upon to cover specific situations and you should not act, or refrain from acting, upon the information contained therein without obtaining specific professional advice. Please contact RGG to discuss these matters in the context of your particular circumstances. RGG, its employees, and its agents do not accept or assume any liability or duty of care for any loss arising from any action taken, or not taken, by anyone in reliance on this information or for any decision based on it.
b. The content described in 8.a. does not constitute, nor should it be relied upon as, professional advice. Please contact RGG for advice on any particular area of interest.
c. In preparing and maintaining RGG Comms every effort has been made to ensure the content is up to date and accurate. However, law and regulations change, and unintentional errors can occur, and information may be neither up to date nor accurate. RGG makes no representation or warranty (including liability towards third parties), express or implied, as to the accuracy, reliability or completeness of the information published on this website.
d. Except for death or personal injury caused by negligent acts or omissions, RGG accepts no liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to any indirect, consequential, special, exemplary or similar damages) arising as a result of any decision or action taken or refrained from as a result of information contained in RGG Comms or other communications to which it may be linked, or as a result of your use or misuse of RGG Comms or other communications to which it may be linked.
e. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RGG against any claim, liability, cost, damage, or loss we may incur (including without limitation legal fees) as a result of any violation by you of any and all of the provisions set out in these terms and conditions.
8. Third party Websites and other social media platforms
a. RGG Comms contain links to third party websites and content held on other social media platforms.
b. These links are provided simply to increase the information available to you and we accept no responsibility or liability in respect of the accuracy, timeliness, suitability, or lawfulness of the information contained on said third-party sources.
c. The inclusion of a link to a third-party source does not constitute an endorsement or an indication of a joint venture, partnership, or other legal arrangement not expressly stated between us and that third party.
9. Privacy Policy
a. This policy may be updated from time to time, and you are encouraged to revisit this policy on a regular basis.
b. Full details are included in Appendix 1.
c. Information obtained upon your visits to RGG Comms which is deemed personal will normally be name, address, post code and email address.
d. All such personal information required will be the minimum to enable RGG to deal expeditiously with your request or enquiry. In certain circumstances, additional information may be requested to enable us to provide the most appropriate response to your request or enquiry, or to enable us to send you additional information where you have indicated you would like to receive this. Where additional personal information is requested, this will be marked, and its provision is voluntary.
e. Sensitive information is not required or collected through RGG Comms except where legally required. Sensitive information would typically include data relating to race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or similar beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health, sexual life, or criminal matters. Where you provide sensitive personal information, your submission of such information will be deemed to constitute explicit consent to RGG’s use of that information in connection with the purpose for which it has been provided.
f. We do not require you to register in order to access RGG Comms. However, registration is required to access certain areas of, or services via, RGG Comms.
g. IP addresses of visitors are logged for administration and troubleshooting purposes. The IP address indicates the location of your computer on the internet. IP addresses are not used to track your session and are not linked to anything personally identifiable. This information may be aggregated to provide statistical information about the users of RGG Comms. No individual user will be identifiable from such information, which will be used to ensure that RGG Comms reflects the needs of our users
h. To ensure that RGG Comms are well managed and to facilitate improved navigation within each site or platform, we may use cookies or web beacons (electronic images to count visitors who have accessed a particular page) to collect aggregate data, personalise the site, identify categories of users, analyse the number of visitors to various pages.
10. Use of Personal Information
a. We will only use your personal information for the specific purpose for which it was provided, except where you have indicated you would like to receive other information from RGG.
b. When requesting material or asking someone to contact you, you might be given the option to receive further information from us, which may be of interest. If you select this option, we will use your personal information to contact you with information about our products/services which we believe may be of interest to you.
c. If you wish to unsubscribe from communications sent by RGG, you may do so at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link that appears in all messages or by emailing info@rutherfordglenglobal.com stating “Unsubscribe” in the heading of your email.
11. Personal Information and Third Parties
a. Although we may provide the personal information to service providers that handle information, under a data processor agreement, on our behalf, we do not share, sell, or distribute personal data to or with third parties unless the transfer of your data to third parties is necessary for the performance of the purpose for which it was provided.
b. Information is not provided to third parties for their own marketing purposes and mailings are not undertaken by RGG for third parties.
c. We may disclose, transfer, sell, or assign any of the information described above, including personally identifiable information, to third parties, as a result of or in preparation for the sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganisation, or liquidation of RGG and you consent to such disclosure, transfer, sale, or assignment.
d. Retention of your information is only maintained for the period required for fulfilling your request and for a reasonable period of time thereafter for our administration and marketing purposes.
12. Security of Personal Information
a. Generally accepted standards of technology and operational security have been implemented to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration, and destruction. However, no data transmission over the internet can be entirely secure. As a result, while we will always use reasonable endeavours to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee that any information you submit to us will be free from unauthorised third-party use or intrusion. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information, or your use of RGG Comms.
b. We cannot guarantee that RGG Comms are free from viruses or malicious codes. You agree that it is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that your own information technology and/or equipment used to access RGG Comms is protected against such viruses and/or codes.
c. All employees and principals are required to keep personal information confidential and only authorised personnel have access to this information.
d. We may intercept, monitor, and/or keep records of email communications entering and leaving our systems. If you communicate through our systems, you will be deemed to have consented to such interception and monitoring.
e. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of third-party sites to which links are provided and you are advised to read the privacy policies on these sites before providing any personal information
f. We cannot guarantee that third-party sites to which links are provided are free from viruses or malicious codes. You agree that it is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that your own information technology and/or equipment used to access a third-party site is protected against such viruses and/or codes.
13. Accessing Personal Data
a. You can ask to review the personal information we hold about you and ask us to change or delete any of this information. You can do this by contacting us by email at info@rutherfordglenglobal.com heading your email “For The Attention of The DPO”
b. We may charge a small administration fee of £10 in relation to any requests for access to personal information.
c. We assume responsibility for keeping an accurate record of your personal information, as it is submitted. However, we cannot ensure the ongoing accuracy of your personal information after it has been submitted, without your assistance.
14. Data Controller
a. The data controller collecting the information described in this statement is RGG.
b. RGG is in the process of being registered on the Data Protection Register, and the registration number will be shown here in due course.

15. Severability
a. If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect, and continue to be binding and enforceable.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. As RGG Comms can be visited from locations around the world with different laws from those of England, when you access RGG Comms you agree that the laws of England will apply to all matters relating to your use of RGG Comms.
b. You and we also agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts with respect to such matters. Notwithstanding this, we reserve the right to bring enforcement proceedings in any court or courts including, if appropriate, in the courts of your country of residence.
Appendix 1 – Full Privacy Policy
1. Overview
a. This Privacy Statement describes how and why RGG (“we” or “us”) and our subsidiaries that: (1) are contracting parties in order to provide or receive services; (2) publicise a position for which you are applying; or (3) you have some other connection to, collect and use personal data (i.e. data relating to an identified or identifiable individual) in the course of business. It applies to personal data provided directly to us by the individuals concerned and to personal data provided to us by companies and other organisations.
b. We are committed to the protection of personal data and to fair and transparent processing. If you have any questions about this Privacy Statement, you can contact our Data Protection Officer via email at info@rutherfordglenglobal.com.
2. Data controller
a. RGG registered in England with number 15141945 with a registered address of 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ has filed for registration as a data controller and the relevant registration data will be included here as soon as available.
3. Security of personal data
a. We have policies, procedures, and training in place in respect of data protection, confidentiality, and information security. We regularly review such measures with the objective of ensuring their continuing effectiveness. The Privacy Statement was last updated in February 2024.
4. International transfers of personal data
a. In the course of running our business and providing services to clients we may transfer personal data to third parties located in other countries that have less stringent data protection laws. Where we transfer personal data to a country not determined by the relevant authority to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data, we will take steps to ensure that personal data will be adequately protected in accordance with applicable law, such as using the Information Commissioner’s Office approved standard contractual clauses.
5. Provision of personal data to third parties
a. We will only share personal data with third parties where we are legally permitted to do so. We do not provide information to third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we do not undertake mailings for third parties. Where we transfer personal data to third parties, we will put in place appropriate contractual arrangements and seek to ensure that there are appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to protect personal data.
b. We may provide personal data to:
i. Third parties involved in the performance of services – we may also share personal data to third party organisations who assist us in providing services to clients or are otherwise involved in the services we provide to clients.
ii. Third parties who provide IT services, data processing or functionality – like many professional service providers, we use third party providers to support our business and the provision of services to our clients, such as cloud-based software providers, web hosting/management providers, data analysis providers, and data back-up and security/storage providers. We may transfer personal data to such third parties.
iii. Auditors and advisers – we may transfer personal data to our auditors and advisers as required by law or as reasonably required in the management of our business.
iv. Third parties where required by applicable law and regulation – we may be requested or compelled to disclose personal data to third parties such as regulators and law enforcement agencies. We will only provide personal data to such parties where there is a legal requirement or permission to do so.
6. Your Rights
a. You have rights in relation to any of your personal data held by us as a data controller. Should you wish to exercise your rights right, please contact our Data Protection Officer via email at info@rutherfordglenglobal.com We will endeavour to respond to any request promptly and within any legally required time limit.
b. You also have a right to update your personal data that we hold. To do so, please contact your usual RGG contact or otherwise contact our Data Protection Officer via email at info@rutherfordglenglobal.com.
c. Where we process your personal data based on your consent, you have a right to withdraw consent at any time. Should you wish to do so, please contact our Data Protection Officer via email at info@rutherfordglenglobal.com.
d. Finally, in addition to the rights above, you may also have other rights in relation to personal data, including a right to erasure/deletion, the right to data portability and the right to restrict and/or object to our processing of personal data.
7. Complaints
a. Should you wish to complain about our use of your personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer via email at info@rutherfordglenglobal.com. We will investigate all complaints received and will endeavour to respond to complaints within ten days.
b. You may also complain about our use of personal data to the Information Commissioner’s Office. For further information on your rights and the complaints process, please visit the Information Commissioner’s Office website: https://ico.org.uk/your-data-matters/.
8. Data Retention
a. We will only keep personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law or regulation.
b. Unless there are any overriding legal, regulatory, or contractual requirements, we will retain records of services provided (which may include personal data) in accordance with our document retention policy.
